Jim Carruth

Jim Carruth is an award-winning poet and current Makar of Glasgow. His work often reflects on the experiences of Scotland’s rural communities and his publications include The Auchensale Trilogy and Killochries, a verse novella that was shortlisted for the Seamus Heaney Poetry Prize for First Collection and the Fenton Aldeburgh Prize. Knockan came out earlier this year and follows the week in the life of an isolated crofter in Assynt.
