Mentorship and Support: Programmes for Emerging Poets

Starting out in any profession can be daunting, and the poetry world can seem particularly opaque – which is why mentorship schemes for emerging writers can be invaluable. Join our panel of Caitrin Armstrong, Head of Writing Communities at the Scottish Book Trust, Jim Carruth from the Clydebuilt Verse Apprenticeship Scheme and Nick Makoha from the Obsidian Foundation, to learn more about what mentorships are and what they aren’t.
