Caitrin Armstrong

Caitrin Armstrong heads up the Writing Communities team at Scottish Book Trust, Scotland’s leading reading and writing charity. She oversees a range of programmes supporting authors, such as the New Writers Awards, which provide talented, unpublished writers with tailored support, including mentoring. Caitrin also looks after Live Literature, which supports schools, libraries and other not-for-profit organisations to bring the magic of an author visit to their communities. She also set up the Scots Language Publication grant to support and champion books published in the Scots Language, and believes in meeting communities and authors with the support that best suits them.  www.scottishbooktrust.com
