Celebrating the Troublemaker: A Workshop
In her 2025 collection, Hymn to All the Restless Girls, Annemarie Ní Churreáin celebrates the rebel spirit of the restless girl, the troublemaker who is also a truth-teller, offering prayers of defiance and howls of protest.
In this online workshop, aimed at anyone interested in writing family stories or social histories, she’ll help us to explore the challenges and responsibilities of writing hidden and obscured histories. We’ll also consider the role that folklore, magic and the Otherworld can play in our work. All levels of experience are welcome.
