RamZee is a Glasgow-based rapper and spoken word artist. Born and raised in Kent, she spent her formative years navigating the complexities of identity. Being mixed race in a predominantly white society and being gay caused her to question everything, including her very existence. Everything started making sense when she picked up a pen and paper. RamZee stays committed to writing conscious lyrics while transforming heavy subjects into witty wordplays. Opening Mobb Deep’s Glasgow show and supporting JayaHadADream on her UK tour, RamZee has been quietly and confidently making moves in the scene.
