Our Voices Together
Join acclaimed poet and children’s author Nadine Aisha Jassat for an engaging and accessible workshop for children and families. With different activities geared at children and adults of all ages, together we’ll have fun trying new poetry prompts to celebrate who we are, and making a collective poem from all of us to be displayed throughout the festival. This relaxed, family-focussed event will approach poetry in a playful way, where poems can be things we write, draw, or create together.

Join us for a special festival Bookbug with children’s poet Rachel Plummer! Bookbug sessions are a firm favourite with parents and wee ones for sharing stories and poems, songs: we’ll be enjoying all the songs and rhymes you’d usually expect, plus Rachel will read some of their favourite children’s poems.
