Julie McNeill

Julie McNeill is a poet and non-fiction writer based in Glasgow. She edits for Drunk Muse Press and the Poets’ Republic magazine, is a trustee for the Wee Gaitherin poetry festival, and was the co-editor of the celebration of women’s football, A Most Unsuitable Game (Tippermuir Books). Julie is cultural director for Football's Square Mile and the children and young people's producer for Wigtown Book Festival. Her collections include Love Goes North and We Are Scottish Football (Luath Press). She’s also the author of 4 books for children with dyslexia published by Hachette. Her work has appeared on the BBC, in The Scotsman and The Herald and has been shortlisted for a Sky Arts Award.
